Winchester World of Whitetail Airing now on VERSUS!
Larry Weishuhn, otherwise known as “Mr. Whitetail”, showcases his life of hard-core whitetail hunting at the top locations across the country. This adventure-hunting-reality series is prime for whitetail fanatics. Weishuhn tells all, including his rituals, strategies and tactics for taking big bucks. Viewers will also tag along and be ‘on-location’ across the country as Larry lectures, meets people at deer check stations, consults with ranch owners on how to manage for more and bigger deer, and tests the latest new products for hunting monster whitetails.

Episode 1
Location: Machen Ranch, Texas
It’s South Texas Brush Country at its finest, monstrous antlers, hard-core rattling and chance encounters. Larry Weishuhn’s favorite whitetail hunt is this one … and his .30-06 handgun is holstered.

Episode 2
Location: Isenhour, Texas
Larry and hunting partner Pam Zaitz, creator of SHE Safari clothing, challenge rutting bucks in mid-December. Larry performs patience but Pam takes aim early, knocking down an absolute monster buck that tapes at more than 170 inches, including a drop tine. Larry is due.

Episode 3
Location: Timberghost Ranch, Iowa
Iowa is considered by some to be the whitetail mecca and nowhere is this more obvious than on the famed Timberghost Ranch. Hunting with his .460 S&W handgun, Larry seeks out what just might be the biggest whitetail he’s ever hunted. But, fighting off ‘buck fever’ might be a challenge.

Episode 4
Location: Carmen Mountains/Brown County, Illinois
Found only in mountain ranges of western Texas and northern Mexico at 4,500 feet and above elevation, the Carmen Mountains whitetail sometimes also called the ‘fantail’ is arguably the smallest of the huntable whitetail subspecies found in North America. An unseasonable blizzard, trialsome hunting conditions and long stalks lead Larry to a monster ... but are his crosshairs on the "right" deer? Then, Larry takes on the bucks of Brown County, (next door to the famed Pike County) but faces a full moon, ice-storms, torrential rains, heavy hunting pressure and only a very limited amount of time to hunt.

Episode 5
Location: Perlitz Ranch, Texas
Known worldwide for its fantastic white-tailed deer hunting this ranch is like Larry’s second home. Weishuhn was instrumental in initiating the Perlitz Ranch management program many years ago, which makes this hunt for a monster 8-point all the more special.

Episode 6
Location: Hudson, Kansas
It’s late September … and the bucks are just shedding their velvet. The moon is nearly full. Day-time temperatures are hot and soybeans are plentiful for browsing bucks and does. Weishuhn loads up with his open-sight muzzleloader and opportunity strikes at last light.

Episode 7
Location: Davidson Ranch
It’s a family affair. Weishuhn’s four grandson’s Jake, Andrew, Joshua and Justin head afield for a doe and management buck hunt. Grandpa learns a few lessons from the youngsters and enjoys his time alongside family.

Episode 8

Larry’s three best hunts of the year combine to make a fast-paced, action-packed episode.
